Alma e Natureza was created to preserve, reforest, and engage local communities in the fight against climate change. The close ties of our founders and collaborators with the Serra da Mantiqueira provide a unique and intimate understanding of the ecological and community needs of the region. This local presence ensures that our initiatives are grounded in real experience and the challenges faced by the communities and ecosystems we aim to support.
Our Goals for the Next 20 Years
1. Sustainable Reforestation:
Restore and revitalize 10,000 hectares of land by planting 18 million native trees.
2. Empowering Minds:
Education, training, and skill development opportunities for approximately 2,000 individuals.
3. Creation of Green Jobs:
Generate, directly or indirectly, 2,000 jobs, promoting economic growth through environmentally friendly solutions.
