OUR HISTORY
Alma e Natureza was born in the heart of Brazil's threatened Atlantic Forest, particularly within the landscapes of Serra da Mantiqueira. The journey began with a significant and heartfelt investment: a 17-acre property in Liberdade, a municipality nestled within the Atlantic Forest. This land, once part of a deteriorating ecosystem, became the birthplace of Alma e Natureza's mission to combat environmental degradation and foster sustainable development.

On this property, the founders embarked on their first project— planting and preserving the land to restore its natural state. This initiative was not merely about deforestation; it was a symbolic gesture of their commitment to reversing the damage caused by extensive deforestation and unsustainable practices.

The founders created a sanctuary for the region's diverse flora and fauna, and an anchor of faith for the future. Their actions on the property serves as a microcosm of their larger mission-to restore the Atlantic Forest and improve the lives of those who call it home.

Join us in cultivating a sustainable future where nature flourishes and communities prosper in unity.

Our mission at Alma e Natureza is to combat climate change, protect biodiversity, and transform local communities in remote and degraded areas of the Atlantic Forest in Brazil.
